MILAN (Thomson Financial) - A2A SpA said that the share buyback programme
approved in October 2006 was concluded on April 27, adding that the group owns
1.51 percent of its own capital.
A2A said it owns a total of 47.435 million ordinary shares, 16.160 million
of which it already had in its portfolio from a previous share buyback scheme.
The company said the 31.275 million shares it bought back under the most
recent scheme were acquired at an average price of 2.6282 euros each for an
overall outlay of 82.197 million euros.
