MILAN (Thomson Financial) - ASM Brescia SpA said it has finalised an 800 mln
eur, 12-month financing, agreed in November, paying 15 basis points over the
Euribor interest rate.
The funding, which has two options for further 12-month extensions, is to be
used for funding the acquisition of Endesa Italia assets from Enel SpA.
ASM said the market is favouring short-term funding, adding that longer-term
finance will be considered for replacement of these funds. Calyon-Cariparma,
BBVA and Intesa Sanpaolo SpA are lending the funds.
