MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Delmi shareholders Enia SpA., Dolomiti Energia
and Sel SpA. will get 5 percent to 6 percent of A2A SpA. in the planned
reorganisation of Edison SpA., the daily Finanza e Mercati reported, citing
sources close to the operation.
A2A chairman Giuliano Zuccoli said on Thursday he is confident of having a
proposal ready before the summer for the merger of holding company Delmi into
A2A, with the aim of simplifying the chain of control at Edison.
Edison is 63.3 percent controlled by Transalpina di Energia, which is in
turn controlled 50 percent by Delmi and 50 percent by France's EDF.
In Delmi, A2A holds 51 percent, Enia has 15 percent, and Dolomiti Energia
and Sel 10 have percent each.
The daily MF said in an unsourced report that the three Delmi industrial
partners will receive 7 percent to 8 percent of A2A.
