MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Edison SpA said that that Transalpina di
Energia, which controls 61.3 pct of the company's ordinary capital, has agreed
to reappoint Giuliano Zuccoli as chairman and Umberto Quadrino as CEO.
Transalpina di Energia will present a list of 12 candidates for Edison's
board at the utility company's AGM on April 2, it added.
Edison's board is scheduled to renew the board for three years.
Transalpina di Energia is controlled by EDF and Delmi, a holding company
which groups Italian investors, including A2A SpA.
