MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Edison SpA said it has signed an agreement with
Metro Italia Cash and Carry that will allow Metro Italia's business customers to
buy electricity from Edison at competitive prices.
Metro Italia's business customers total around 1.2 million, Edison said.
Under the agreement Metro Italia's customers will be able to buy electricity
generated from renewable energy sources at prices that are frozen for three
years, Edison said.
