MILAN (Thomson Financial) - A consortium led by Impregilo SpA has been
awarded a 30-year contract to build and manage a road linking the port of Ancona
in central Italy to the A14 motorway by the road and motorway agency ANAS, the
construction group said.
Impregilo said it has a 47 percent stake in the consortium, which includes
Astaldi SpA with a 24 percent stake, Impresa Pizzarotti & C SpA with 18 percent,
and Itinera SpA with 11 percent.
The 11-km link will cost 580 million euros and take 72 months to build from
when the deal is officially awarded, it said.
The concession starts from the end of the construction period, Impregilo
said.
