MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Italy deliveries of commercial vehicles up to
3.5 tonnes rose 4.24 percent in April to 22,291, from 21,385 a year earlier,
said Anfia and Unrae industry associations in a joint statement.
Fiat SpA brand deliveries rose 3.95 percent to 10,076, from April 2007,
representing a 45.20 percent market share, against 45.33 a year earlier.
Fiat's brand Iveco deliveries were up 2.87 percent to 1,970, with market
share of 8.84 percent, against 8.95 in April 2007.
Ford deliveries were 1,632, down 7.74 percent, representing a market share
of 7.32 percent, down from 8.27.
Renault Italia deliveries were unchanged at 1,286, with market share of 5.77
percent, down from 6.01 percent.
Citreon deliveries rose 9.20 percent to 1,116, with a market share of 5.01
percent, against 4.78 a year earlier.
Italian producer Piaggio SpA deliveries rose 17.79 percent to 490, giving a
market share of 2.20 percent, from 1.95.
