SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Two senior executives have left Dell
Inc. in recent weeks at the same time the Round Rock, Texas-based computer
company is making efforts to cut payroll costs, The Wall Street Journal reported
late Friday.
Marty Garvin, a procurement chief at the company, and Thomas Welch, a vice
president in Dell's legal department, have left the company, the report said.
Dell shares closed the regular session up 19 cents at $19.03.
