MILAN (Thomson Financial) - UBI Banca said it has completed the migration of
its Banca Popolare di Ancona unit onto its information technology platform
"target".
About two months ago, the banking group migrated the Banca Popolare
Commercio e Industria network onto the platform.
The migration onto the platform of units of the former banking group BPU
will continue in July with Banca Carime and be completed at the beginning of
October with Banca Popolare di Bergamo, it said.
UBI was formed on April 1, 2007 by the merger of BPU and Banca Lombarda.
