LONDON (Thomson Financial) - 3i Infrastructure Ltd. said it has received an
83 percent take-up under its open offer, launched in June alongside a placing.
The placing and open offer of about 108.13 million shares closed on
Wednesday, and the group said it received valid acceptances under the open offer
for 67.90 million shares.
This represents 83.0 percent of the new shares available under the open
offer and includes the 23.58 million shares which were the subject of an
irrevocable undertaking from 3i Group.
On June 16, the company said it planned to raise 114.6 million pounds
through a placing and open offer of about 108.13 million shares at 106 pence
each to fund further investment in infrastructure assets globally.
