HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Property transactions recorded at Hong Kong's Land
Registry in the six months to June were valued at 288.73 bln hkd, up 35.1 pct
from the same period last year, the government said.
The figure was 7.4 pct lower compared with the second half of last year, the
government said.
The total number of transactions stood at 75,320, up 18.6 pct year-on-year
but down 8.4 pct compared with the second half of 2007.
