Amministrazione ha approvato il Resoconto intermedia di gestione al
31 dicembre 2015 relativo ai primi 9 mesi dell'esercizio 2015/2016
Ricavi consolidati a 121 milioni di euro (+4,8%)
Milano, 12 febbraio 2016 Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di
Damiani S.p.A. capofila del Gruppo Damiani attivo nella creazione,
realizzazione e distribuzione di gioielli di alta gamma e di design
in Italia e all'estero, ha approvato oggi il resoconto intermedio
di gestione al 31 dicembre 2015 relativa ai primi 9 mesi
(aprile-dicembre 2015) dell'esercizio 2015/2016. Nel corso dei
primi 9 mesi dell'esercizio 2015/2016, il Gruppo ha conseguito
Ricavi da vendite e prestazioni pari a 121,0 milioni di euro in
crescita del 4,8% rispetto ai 115,4 milioni di euro registrati
nell'analogo periodo dell'esercizio precedente. Prosegue la
crescita delle vendite dirette del marchio Damiani sia nei negozi
monomarca che nei negozi multimarca. Tale andamento conferma il
trend positivo che si protrae da oltre cinque anni e che sostiene
le scelte strategiche del Gruppo di investire nello sviluppo della
propria rete diretta di distribuzione per incrementare la
visibilità e notorietà del marchio ed avvicinarsi al cliente
finale. Al 31 dicembre 2015, il Gruppo gestisce 57 punti vendita
diretti e 20 in franchising posizionati nei principali poli del
lusso, in Italia e all'estero. RISULTATI OPERATIVI E UTILE NETTO La
performance operativa che ha beneficiato oltre che della crescita
del volume di affari anche di proventi netti non ricorrenti nei
primi 9 mesi dell'esercizio 2015/2016, ha determinato per il Gruppo
Damiani un EBITDA consolidato pari a 19,9 milioni di euro e un
Risultato operativo consolidato pari a 13,6 milioni di euro. Il
Risultato Netto consolidato di competenza del Gruppo nei primi 9
mesi dell'esercizio 2015/2016 è positivo per 6,5 milioni di euro.
INDEBITAMENTO FINANZIARIO NETTO Al 31 dicembre 2015, il Gruppo
presenta un indebitamento finanziario netto di 51,6 milioni di
euro, sostanzialmente stabile rispetto ai 50,9 milioni di euro al
31 marzo 2015. FATTI DI RILIEVO AVVENUTI NEL CORSO DEL TRIMESTRE Il
12 ottobre presso la Casa dell'Aviatore a Roma è stato siglato
l'accordo tra Damiani e l'Aeronautica Militare per promuovere lo
sport, con particolare riferimento alle attività equestri,
attraverso iniziative congiunte volte a valorizzare l'immagine
dell'Aeronautica Militare in Italia ed all'estero. L'11 novembre è
stata inaugurata la prima boutique Damiani a Città del Messico
all'interno di Palacio de Hierro, il più importante e grande
department store del lusso situato nel quartiere residenziale
Polanco della metropoli messicana. Nel mese di novembre il Gruppo
ha avviato la gestione diretta di una seconda boutique Damiani
a
Honolulu, nel prestigioso contesto dell'hotel Halekulani, situato
nel quartiere Waikiki, uno dei più affascinanti scenari turistici
delle Hawaii. Nel mese di novembre il Gruppo ha avviato la gestione
diretta della boutique Damiani a Mosca. A inizio dicembre è stato
inaugurato un punto vendita multimarca ad insegna Rocca 1794 presso
l'aeroporto internazionale di Bergamo-Orio al Serio, terzo
aeroporto della città di Milano presso il quale sono concentrate le
principali tratte low-cost del Nord Italia verso l'estero. Il 16
dicembre 2015 per la prima edizione dei Gazzetta Sports Awards,
Damiani ha realizzato gli anelli con cui sono stati premiati i
migliori otto atleti italiani che nel 2015 si sono distinti nelle
rispettive discipline a livello mondiale. L'evento di premiazione
di è tenuto presso il teatro Metropol di Milano ed alla cerimonia
le celebrità del mondo dello sport e dello spettacolo intervenute
hanno indossato i gioielli delle collezioni Damiani. Damiani ha
sottoscritto un contratto di licenza esclusiva per il marchio
Alfieri & St. John con la società Gens Aurea S.p.A.
(controllata dal fondo di private equity Progressio) che, in
qualità di licenziatario, ha acquisito il diritto per un periodo di
cinque anni di produrre e commercializzare prodotti con il marchio
oggetto della licenza. FATTI DI RILIEVO INTERVENUTI DOPO LA
CHIUSURA DEI PRIMI 9 MESI DELL'ESERCIZIO A gennaio 2016 Damiani
International SA ha acquisito una quota di minoranza del capitale
sociale di Venini S.p.A., la più storica e blasonata vetreria del
mondo, nata a Murano nel 1921.

PRESS RELEASE Damiani S.p.A.: The Board of Directors has approved
the Interim Management Report to 31 December 2015 relating to the
first 9 months of the financial year 2015/2016 Consolidated revenue
at Euro 121 million (+4.8%) Milan, 12 February 2016. The Board of
Directors of Damiani S.p.A., parent company of the Damiani group
operating in the creation, production and distribution of fine
design jewelry in Italy and abroad, has, today, approved the
Interim Management Report to 31 December 2015 relating to the first
9 months (April-December 2015) of the 2015/2016 financial year.
During the first 9 months of the 2015/2016 financial year, the
group achieved Revenues from Sales and Services of Euro 121.0
million, a rise of 4.8% compared to the Euro 115.4 million recorded
in the same period of the previous financial year. The growth in
direct sales of the Damiani brand continued in both single- and
multi-brand shops. This confirms the positive trend which has
continued for more than five years and supports the strategic
choices of the group to invest in the development of its direct
distribution network to increase the visibility and prominence of
the brand and move closer to the end customer. At 31 December 2015,
the group managed 57 direct points of sale and 20 franchised points
positioned in the main centres of luxury in Italy and abroad.
OPERATING RESULT AND NET PROFIT The operating performance has
benefited not only from the growth in the turnover but also from
non-recurring net income in the first 9 months of the 2015/2016
financial year. This determined a consolidated EBITDA of Euro 19.9
million and Consolidated Operating Result of Euro 13.6 million for
the Damiani group. The Consolidated Net Profit for the Group in the
first 9 months of the 2015/2016 financial year was positive at Euro
6.5 million. NET DEBT At 31 December 2015, the group had Net Debt
of Euro 51.6 million, largely stable with respect to the Euro 50.9
million at 31 March 2015. IMPORTANT EVENTS OCCURRING IN THE QUARTER
On 12 October, the agreement between Damiani and the Aeronautica
Militare (Air Force) to promote sport, with special reference to
equestrian events, was signed at the Casa dell'Aviatore in Rome.
The sports events will be promoted through joint initiatives aimed
at enhancing the image of the Air Force in Italy and abroad. On 11
November, the first Damiani boutique in Mexico City was
inaugurated, inside the Palacio de Hierro, the most important and
largest luxury department store in the residential Polanco district
of the Mexican metropolis. In November, the group started the
direct management of a second Damiani boutique in Honolulu, in the
prestigious context of the Hotel Halekulani, in the Waikiki
district, one of the most fascinating
tourist scenarios of Hawaii. In November, the group started the
direct management of Damiani boutique in Moscow. At the beginning
of December, a multi-brand Rocca 1794 point of sale was inaugurated
at the international airport of Bergamo - Orio al Serio, Milan's
third airport. The main low cost international routes from Northern
Italy are concentrated there. On 16 December 2015, Damiani created
the rings given as prizes for the first edition of the Gazzetta
Sports Awards. The eight best Italian athletes who distinguished
themselves in their discipline at world level in 2015 were awarded
the prizes. The prize-giving event was held in the Metropol
Theatre, Milan, and celebrities from the sport and show business
worlds wore jewels from Damiani collections at the ceremony.
Damiani signed an exclusive licensing contract for the Alfieri
& St. John brand with Gens Aurea S.p.A. (controlled by the
private equity fund Progressio) which, as licensee, acquired the
right to produce and commercialise products with the brand
indicated in the licence for a period of five years. IMPORTANT
EVENTS OCCURRING AFTER THE CLOSURE OF THE FIRST 9 MONTHS OF THE
FINANCIAL YEAR In January 2016, Damiani International SA acquired a
minority holding in the share capital of Venini S.p.A., the most
famous and awarded artistic glass company in the world, founded in
1921 in Murano.
