Unemployment from the UK and industrial production from euro area are due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 4.00 am ET, Germany's wholesale price data for June is due. Prices had increased 3.1 percent year-on-year in May.

At 3.00 am ET, the Czech Statistical Office is scheduled to issue consumer prices for June. Inflation is seen easing to 2.3 percent from 2.4 percent in May.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics releases UK unemployment data. The jobless rate is forecast to remain unchanged at 4.6 percent in three months to May.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is scheduled to issue euro area industrial production figures for May. Economists forecast industrial output to rise 1 percent month-on-month, following a 0.5 percent rise in April.

At 6.00 am ET, Portugal's consumer prices for June are due. In May, inflation was at 1.5 percent.
