Airbus SE said Tuesday that the national airline of Ivory Coast has signed an order for two of its A330neo planes.

The two widebody planes will permit Air Cote d'Ivoire to carry out long-haul flights as part of a larger expansion strategy.

The company currently operates a fleet of six Airbus planes including one A320neo, two A320ceo and three A319 aircrafts, Airbus said.

The A330neo plane is the new generation of Airbus's popular A330 widebody model.
