The Board has been notified today that under the Clipper Windpower Plc Executive 
Share Option Scheme 2005 (the "Scheme"), options of 4,000 new ordinary shares of 
10P each in the Company have been exercised. 
 
Accordingly, application has been made for 4,000 new ordinary shares ranking 
pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM 
on 29 July 2010. 
 
Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 214,655,293.
