Capital Markets Day - Manchester

Landsec will today host a Capital Markets Day (CMD) in Manchester, focused on mixed-use urban neighbourhoods as a key pillar of the company's growth strategy.

The day will consist of presentations and asset tours. Landsec will cover progress on its mixed-use urban neighbourhoods strategic priority where it has announced a recent investment in MediaCity and the acquisition of U and I Group PLC.

Landsec plans to invest circa GBP1.5bn of capital expenditure on its mixed-use urban neighbourhoods pipeline over the next five years, delivering an expected circa 20% profit on total development cost, in addition to a planned investment of circa GBP1.3bn in its London office pipeline. It expects to start construction of the first building at Mayfield later this year and MediaCity phase 2 in 2023. The CMD will include tours of both of these assets.

The CMD will not include a trading update. The presentation slides will be available on the corporate website from 11:30am GMT and an audiocast of the presentation will be available on Thursday 10 February.

Landsec will host a CMD later this year focused on ESG. Further details will follow shortly.
