Eagle Rock Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:ERX) ("Eagle Rock" or the "Company")
announces that Mr. Eric Tremblay, a non-executive Director of the Company, has
informed the Board that he is resigning, effective immediately. Mr.Tremblay has
advised the Company that he wishes to concentrate on other business interests.


The Board of Directors of Eagle Rock would like to thank Mr. Tremblay for his
contribution to Eagle Rock's business and wish him well in his new endeavours.
