Deutsche Telekom AG on Thursday raised its full-year guidance for the third time this year after third-quarter revenue increased.

The German telecommunications company reported a net profit of 1.58 billion euros ($1.58 billion) in the third quarter, compared with EUR889 million a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization after leases, a closely watched metric, rose to EUR10.48 billion from EUR9.66 billion, slightly below analysts' expectations of EUR10.51 billion, according to a company-compiled consensus.

Revenue rose to EUR28.98 billion from EUR26.64 billion in last year's third quarter, boosted by strong growth in service revenue, it said. Analysts had forecast revenue for the quarter at EUR29.31 billion, according to a company-compiled consensus.

Deutsche Telekom said it now expects adjusted Ebitda after leases for the year to come in at more than EUR37 billion. It had guided for EUR37 billion in August. Adjusted core Ebitda after leases is now expected to total more than EUR35.9 billion, up from around EUR35.9 billion guided for previously, while adjusted earnings per share should reach more than EUR1.50, compared with the previously guided EUR1.25.

The company said it plans to pay a dividend of EUR0.70 a share for the 2022 financial year.
