--The private lender C Hoare & Co. has chosen former Lloyds Banking Group PLC executive Diana Brightmore-Armour as its new chief executive, Sky News reports, citing unnamed sources.

--Ms. Brightmore-Armour, who is also a nonexecutive director of C Hoare & Co. and whose formal appointment is understood to be awaiting regulatory approval, will replace Steven Cooper and become the first female to run the bank, Sky reports.
