Credit Agricole SA said late Monday that it has appointed Valerie Baudson as deputy chief executive officer.

The French bank said Ms. Baudson also joins the executive committee.

Ms. Baudson's appointment to Credit Agricole comes three months after French asset manager Amundi SA selected her to succeed Yves Perrier as chief executive.

Credit Agricole has a stake of approximately 70% in Amundi, according to FactSet.
