Electricite de France SA said Wednesday that it signed a power-purchase agreement with Paris-based public-transportation operator RATP.

The French energy company will provide the RATP with a total 170 gigawatt hours of renewable electricity over a period of three years, comprising close to 51 GWh this year, then 60 GWh in 2022 and 2023, it said. The electricity will be produced at five existing wind farms in France.
