Norwegian hydrogen plant manufacturer HydrogenPro AS said Friday
that its cooperation on the Normandy hydrogen project will end
after H2V Industry sold its remaining 60% stake in the project to
Air Liquide SA.
"Following the announcement of Air Liquide's purchase of 40% of
the Normandy project in February 2021, the deal announced was
always a possible outcome," said HydrogenPro Chief Executive Marten
Lunde.
The deal will have only a fractional short-term impact and has
no impact on HydrogenPro's work with H2V to mature the Dunkirk
green hydrogen project, with final public approval expected to be
given during the first quarter of 2022, the company added.
"This is of course disappointing to us, but we continue our good
co-operation with H2V on the Dunkirk project as well as other
opportunities in France," Mr. Lunde said.
