The Local Shopping REIT plc ("LSR" or the "Company")

Completion of Transfer of Listing Category

Trading in LSR Shares

The directors of the Company (the "Board" or the "Directors") confirm that, as envisaged in the Circular to LSR shareholders published on 28 September 2020 (the "Circular"), the transfer of 21,019,543 Ordinary Shares in the Company from Thalassa Holdings Ltd ("Thalassa") to the shareholders of Thalassa, was completed on 23 October 2020.

In consequence of the share transfer described above and the resolutions passed at the Company's General Meeting held on 21 October 2020, the Board is now pleased to note that the Company's applications to the Financial Conduct Authority for:

(a) the transfer of the Company's listing category on the Official List out of the category of a "Premium Listing (investment company)" and into the category of a "Standard Listing (shares); and

   (b)     the lifting of the suspension of trading of the Company's shares, 

have been successful and trading in the Company's shares on the London Stock Exchange can now resume under its existing London Stock Exchange Ticker: LSR.

As envisaged in the Circular, the Company has left the UK REIT regime and will shortly change its name to Alina Holdings plc. This change of name is dependent on processing and confirmation by the Registrar of Companies and a further announcement will be made, including details of the Company's new London Stock Exchange ticker and its new website, when the change of name has taken effect.
