Capital Markets Day Postponed

London, UK - 18 March 2020 : Spirent Communications plc ("Spirent", the "Company" or the "Group") (LSE: SPT), a leading test, measurement, analytics and assurance technology company today announces that it has taken the decision to postpone its Capital Markets Day which was planned to be held on Thursday 30 April 2020, owing to ongoing coronavirus concerns about large meetings.

The decision follows new Government advice on large meetings and the safety of our employees and stakeholders is absolutely paramount. The Group considered the value of trying to do the event virtually, but given the intention of a Capital Markets Day is to provide analysts and investors with more detail on the Group's strategy as well as to introduce bench strength in Spirent's management team, we have taken the decision to postpone to a time when we can all be together to provide maximum impact.

Spirent now intends to hold its Capital Markets Day later in the year and will provide an update on timing nearer the time.
