The Walt Disney Co. on Tuesday said two executives intend to step down from their positions at the end of this year.

On Monday, Alan N. Braverman, senior executive vice president, general counsel and secretary notified the company he intends to step down from his positions. Also, Zenia B. Mucha, senior executive vice president and chief communications officer, said she plans to step down, the company said.

Disney said both executives' employment agreements end on Dec. 31, and added both said they will depart as of Jan. 1, 2022 or at "such later date as may be necessary to effect a smooth transition."
