Solutia Warrants, SLIWW, are now being traded on the American Stock Exchange under symbol SOAWS.
This is good news for any warrant holders as it should bring help with liquidity and also allow the warrants to trade closer to the Black-Scholes value.

Much as I hate government regulation, this new initiative to prevent people flying out car windows will benefit SOA.

Wow nice up 7% today so far, that is a nice sign, imo when the range goes to 18 for 52 weeks.

Nice day so far, got some premarket today at 5.28 then traded it just a little later 5.84 not huge bucks but 7+% in a couple hours is good enough for me. Now if I can just do that every hour. lol

Completed the offering of 20M shares that is good news since the SP should have had it fully discounted and now should come out of the dip IMO. Yesterday and today premarket seems to indicate that anyway,

I should add, any [which I'm expecting any time in the next month, honestly.] downturns in the market could sharply affect Solutia, bringing it down in to the cheapy cheap zone like it was before, so if adding, watch like a HAWK and make sure you get out while the market is poised in an up position. Solutia is headed up, but again, an impending down leg [IMO] would sharply affect PPS performance. So I would honestly wait and watch.

Nice drop today! Would be watching tomorrow for buy in opportunities! Anything under 5 would be a dream, but realistically... probably not gonna happen.

"ST. LOUIS (April 27, 2009)—Solutia Inc. temporarily is idling its Flexsys America factory in Monongahela, Pa., and laying off employees there because of a “dramatic” drop in product demand.

The rubber chemicals supplier told workers on April 15 of the impending shutdown, a Solutia spokeswoman said. Workers weren’t sent home that day, she said, but the plant progressively will be shut down during the next several weeks, and when demand bounces back, production will brought to more normal levels and workers will be recalled back to work as needed.

Parent company Solutia didn’t specify how many people work at the Flexsys division’s Monongahela plant, but the spokeswoman said the number is less than 100. Hourly and salaried workers at the site are affected by the decision. "

So, as the description reads, Solutia is a chemical and other industrial manufacturing product ... producing company.

They recently sold off a section of their Nylon business, which included a contract which ties 2% of all future profits off the hived-off business.

Recently we took a hit from the 4 dollar range to around 3, and today as the day closed down we saw a nice 25% bounce. Apparently Cranshire Capital sold a few million shares? [This is what I heard from someone on the google finance boards. Since there's been no discussion board here on IHub, I hope anyone that sees this who's watching SOA will come around and say some stuff now!
