--Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) may add two new members to its board, raising the number to 14, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing "people familiar with the matter."

--The report said Qualcomm is looking to placate shareholders after it turned down a takeover bid from Broadcom Inc. (AVGO), and didn't get needed approvals from China to buy NXP Semiconductors NV (NXPI), among other issues.

--Additions may be made to the board next year, the report said, citing the sources.
