--Qualcomm Inc.'s (QCOM) former chief executive Paul Jacobs is still considering a possible effort to buy the company, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

--Mr. Jacobs said in an interview with Bloomberg that "we're prepared if an opportunity arises."

--Mr. Jacobs was ousted as chairman in March. He started a new company called Xcom focused on 5G technology.
