--Siemens and Alstom won't offer any more concessions to European regulators who are currently studying the companies' proposed merger of their rail businesses, the FT reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The companies consider that further concessions could render the deal commercially nonviable, the FT says.

--Siemens and Alstom in December proposed selling some signaling activities and rolling-stock products that would represent around 4% of the sales of the combined entity.
