--The chief executive of Brazilian jet maker Embraer SA (ERJ) will leave the company before Boeing Co. (BA) takes control of its commercial aviation division, Reuters reported Monday.

--Paulo Cesar Silva will leave April 22, the report said, adding that his successor will be named at that time.

--The deal between the two companies will see the creation of a joint venture made up of the commercial aircraft and services operations of Embraer, with Boeing holding an 80% ownership stake.
