Appointment of Director
Trans-Siberian Gold plc (TSG.LN), a low cost, high grade gold
producer in Russia, is pleased to announce the appointment of
Eugene Antonov to the Board as Chief Operating Officer with
immediate effect.
Mr Antonov has more than 20 years' experience in the mining
industry including senior operational and financial appointments
with companies including Kinross and Bema Gold Corporation. Mr
Antonov has been the COO of TSG in a non-board capacity since 1
August 2018. Mr Antonov holds an MBA from the Rotman School of
Management in Toronto and is also a member of the Chartered
Professional Accountants in Canada.
Mr Antonov's appointment strengthens the depth of the TSG Board.
The Board comprises two executive directors and five non-executive
directors, two of whom are considered independent.
Mr Eugene Antonov, aged 44, does not currently hold any Ordinary
Shares in TSG. As announced on 3 May 2019, Mr. Antonov has entered
into a conditional SPA to purchase 80,249 ordinary shares pursuant
to the Secondary Sale.
There are no further disclosures to be made under Schedule 2g of
the AIM Rules for Companies.
