Pound Mixed Ahead Of U.K. Mortgage Approvals

The U.K. mortgage approvals for May are due at 4:30 am ET
Wednesday.
Ahead of the data, the pound traded mixed against its major
counterparts. The currency held steady against the greenback, the
franc and the yen but fell against the euro.
The pound was worth 1.2680 against the greenback, 136.26 against
the yen, 0.8961 against the euro and 1.2367 against the franc as of
4:25 am ET.
