E.ON Invests in Construction-Technology Startup

E.ON SE (EOAN.XE) said Monday that it has invested in
German-American construction software developer HoloBuilder.
The German utility didn't disclose the size of the
investment.
San-Francisco-based HoloBuilder's technology uses 3D cameras to
create a photographic model of a building site allowing contractors
to virtually monitor progress and optimize construction
processes.
E.ON said it plans to use the platform at future projects such
as substations and city energy projects.
