BARONSMEAD VCT 4 PLC C SHARES



OFFER FOR SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE STERLING EQUIVALENT OF Euro2.5M



On 14 August 2007 the Company issued an Offer for Subscription of C Shares to
raise up to the sterling equivalent of Euro2.5m.  The Board of Baronsmead VCT 4 plc
is pleased to announce that applications totalling #576,247 were received from
existing shareholders by the time the Offer closed on 24 September 2007. As the
Offer was not fully subscribed, all applications have been accepted in full.





Pursuant to the Offer for subscription, a further 559,440 C shares of 50 pence
per share have been allotted and issued today at an offer price of 103 pence per
C share.  Trading in these new shares is expected to commence on 26 September at
8.00am.





The Company's issued C share capital consists of 20,559,440 C shares with voting
rights. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or change to their interest in, Baronsmead VCT 4 plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
