The Company today announces that Ian Kirkpatrick has informed the Board of his 
intention not to stand for re-election as a director of the Company at the 2013 
AGM. 
 
Ian has been a director since 2001. He has made a substantial contribution to 
the evolution of the Company over the past 12 years including his excellent 
chairmanship of the Audit Committee. The Board is in the process of recruiting 
a Non-Executive Director and a further announcement regarding this and the 
appointment of a new audit committee chairman will be released in due course. 
 
Robert Owen, Chairman of Baronsmead VCT 4 plc, commented:
