Diageo PLC said Thursday that it intends to delist its shares trading on Euronext Paris and Euronext Dublin following a review of the trading volumes, costs and administrative requirements.

The London-based maker of Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky, Guinness stout and Smirnoff vodka said that the delisting from Euronext Paris will take effect on or around May 26, while the delisting from Euronext Dublin will take effect on or around May 30, subject to approval.

The company added that the listings on the London Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange won't be affected.

"Investors whose shares are listed on Euronext Paris or Euronext Dublin are encouraged to consult with their own investment advisers as to how the delistings may affect them," Diageo said.
