HomeSend - new remittance corridor to Morocco.

eServGlobal announces an agreement for the HomeSend remittance
service between its strategic business partner BICS and Wafacash,
subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank Group and Moroccan leader in
international money transfers.
Through this agreement, HomeSend users will be able to use their
mobile phones to remit money to their family and friends in
Morocco. The service will initially be launched on the Belgium to
Morocco corridor. There are over 3 million Moroccans living abroad
with the majority living in France, Spain, Italy and Belgium. The
service will go live this month with initial revenues anticipated
in this financial year.
HomeSend continues to set the standard for international
interoperability in mobile money transfer by creating a seamless
connection between a variety of mobile money systems and financial
institutions around the world. The HomeSend mobile remittance hub
service is offered by BICS and based on eServGlobal technology.

BETWEEN BELGIUM and MOROCCO

Wafacash, subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank Group and Moroccan
leader in international money transfers, and BICS, part of the
Belgacom Group and a prominent international provider of Voice,
Messaging, Roaming, Connectivity and Mobile Financial Services,
announced today that they have launched a new remittance corridor
between Belgium and Morocco.
Through this deal, people living in Belgium will be able to use
their mobile phones to remit money instantly and cost effectively
to their relatives and friends anywhere in Morocco, where they can
collect the money at one of the 500 agent locations of
Wafacash.
The remittance transactions to the 500 agents of Wafacash are
facilitated through the HomeSend remittance hub, and Wafacash' Allo
Cash(R) platform.
HomeSend is a strategic business partnership between BICS and
eServGlobal, allowing the real-time transfer of any type of funds,
such as airtime or money, and from various fund sources, such as
eWallets, bank accounts, credit cards and cash.
Allo Cash(R) is the distribution service set up by Wafacash to
allow the distribution of remittance transactions coming from
mobile phones via HomeSend.
