                  GENOSIS APPOINTS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Genosis PLC ("Genosis" or "the Company"), a company focusing on consumer
products for reproductive health, announces that Jonathan Pockson has been
appointed Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect. Mr Pockson replaces Ann
Simon who steps down to concentrate on other commitments.

Mr Pockson, aged 56, has recently returned to the UK from the US where he was
Senior Vice President of Emergent Biosolutions Inc. He was previously CFO with
Microscience plc.

Commenting on the announcement, Dr Joe Blaker, Chairman of Genosis, said: "We
are delighted to have recruited someone of Jonathan's calibre to fill the key
position of CFO. He has played a significant role in developing new business
opportunities and financing initiatives within the biopharmaceutical sector in
both Europe and the USA and will be of great assistance in helping to move
Genosis forward through the next stages of its development.

to Genosis and in particular her advice and guidance through the Company's
flotation last year. We wish her every success in her future endeavours."

Mr Pockson is currently a director of Claremont Consultancy Limited and
Wayneflete Tower Management Limited. Within the last 5 years, he has been a
director of the Emergent Product Development UK Limited and Vmax Limited.

There is nothing further to disclose in relation to the appointment of Mr
Pockson under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
