CBS Corp. (CBS, CBSA) reached a multiyear licensing agreement to stream some shows from its television library on the Hulu Plus subscription service, expanding the relationship between the media company and the online television service.

Financial terms weren't disclosed. Under the agreement CBS shows such as "Medium," "CSI: Miami", "I Love Lucy" and "The Twilight Zone" will be available on Hulu Plus starting next year. Clips from "Entertainment Tonight" will be provided the day of the broadcast on Hulu and Hulu Plus.

CBS has reported stronger earnings for more than two years, boosted in recent periods by licensing deals with online-media companies and higher programming fees. CBS is heavily dependent on advertising, but it has been diversifying into other revenue streams.

Hulu's owners include, News Corp. (NWS, NWSA, NWS.AU), which also owns The Wall Street Journal and this newswire.
