WEST GREENWICH, R.I., April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GTECH Holdings Corporation (NYSE:GTK) was notified by Chinatrust Commercial Bank Co., Ltd, the new license holder for the Public Welfare Lottery of Taiwan, that it has selected another vendor to provide equipment and services for a new online lottery gaming system, terminals, and associated telecommunications network, under its new seven-year license. GTECH has provided lottery products and services to the Public Welfare Lottery of Taiwan since 2002, through Taipei Fubon Bank. The Company's current contract with the Lottery is set to expire in December 2006. The Taiwan Lottery contributes approximately $12 million to $15 million to GTECH's annual service revenues.
