ATCO is working with the Haitian Non Government Organization (NGO), La Maison
l'ARC- en-Ciel (Rainbow House) near Port-au-Prince, to distribute thousands of
items donated by ATCO employees.

"ATCO and its employees were deeply touched by the earthquake in Haiti and
wanted to help," said Nancy Southern, President & Chief Executive Officer, ATCO
Group. "This is our way of trying to make a difference."

Immediately after the earthquake, ATCO employees working in Haiti got a
ground-level view of the needs of Haitians. That helped ATCO create a customized
list of items for people to donate. The response from employees across Canada
was overwhelming. More than 34,000 items were donated in just a few weeks.

"I am moved by the generosity of my co-workers," said Fritz Jean-Louis, an ATCO
employee born and now working in Haiti. "I know my fellow Haitians won't soon
forget the support they have received from Canada and companies like ATCO."

Sea containers filled with school supplies, toiletries, linens, tools, toys,
even sports equipment was sent to ARC-en- Ciel. The NGO has been recognized by
UNICEF for its works with Haitian children and families.

"ATCO's contribution represents so much for our programs," said Danielle Reid
Penette, Director, ARC-en-Ciel. "We would not in any time have been able to
afford purchasing the different items that were donated. It's an expression of
solidarity without borders and a model of humanitarian support."

ARC-en-Ciel says more than 600 people associated with their programs will
directly benefit from ATCO's donations. It's expected to take two weeks before
all the items have been distributed.

Members of the media are invited to La Maison l'ARC-en-Ciel, Thursday, Nov. 4 at
noon CST, to witness the donations being distributed. Representatives of
Arc-en-Ceil and ATCO will also be available for comment that day.

La Maison l'Arc-en-Ciel was founded in 1996 by Robert and Danielle Penette of
Montreal. The Non-Government Organization operates the following programs in
Haiti:

-- A residence for 36 children orphaned by HIV/AIDS
-- An outreach centre for approximately 100 families affected by HIV/AIDS
-- A community mobilization program providing education, training and
technical support to community-based organizations, enabling them to
address medical and social issues surrounding HIV/AIDS in their
    communities
