PR Newswire (US)
ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alaska
Airlines' popular Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) fares are now on
sale, offering savings of up to 35 percent off the lowest everyday
fares for in-state travel to and from Anchorage, Fairbanks and
Juneau, and additional savings on select routes to and from the
Lower 48, Canada and Mexico. The PFD fares also are available for
travel originating outside the state to most destinations within
Alaska. In addition, the PFD special includes discounts of up to 10
percent off Alaska Airlines Vacations packages. This year's PFD
fares offer new one-way flexibility and no Friday or Saturday night
stay requirements. Alaska Airlines PFD fares are available for
immediate purchase and do not require a PFD batch card or check
stub. Tickets must be purchased by Nov. 3, 2005, and travel must be
completed by Sept. 5, 2006. The fares are designed to be booked in

fee. Additionally, the fares boast no blackouts, no charge for
peak-day or seasonal travel, no red-eye requirements, no fuel
surcharges, no maximum stay and no roundtrip purchase required. For
