Rivara underground gas storage project
In November 2006 is born "Comitato per la salute dei cittadini" (CSC), a social organisation aimed to inform Rivara's citizenhood about the "Rivara gas storage project" wich is featured by a deep environmental impact, CSC is supported by the authorities.
Part of CSC is a pool of experts who had studied the projects of the Indipendent Resources and demostrated that some primary technical considerations had been missed, expecially about human safety and ambiental impact.
A pool of italian geologists had already worked in the area and demostrated that the Rivara gas storage project doesn't touch some primary geological considerations that are reported in the pubblic archives of the University of Bologna, this documents move perplexities about the unpracticability of the project.
Experts reported deep dubts about the safety of the underground storage because of the existing differents fractures of the soil, that now are bringing naturally gas and hot water out of the subsoil.
According with authorities the authorizations' terms had been delayed.
