Contract win with a major UK utility provider

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security and surveillance systems, announces that it has been awarded an £800,000 contract with a new customer - a major UK utility provider - to deliver a multi-site deployment of the Company's proprietary software platform, Synergy (the "Contract").

The Contract, which will be deployed in the Company's current financial year, will see Synergy rolled out in the UK utility provider's main command and control centre, centralising feeds from numerous disparate locations throughout the network into one simple interface. Once installed, operators will be able to detect and respond promptly to potential threats from across the network with seamless efficiency.

Synergy's open architecture allows configuration to the exacting requirements of each individual customer. Furthermore, Synergy incorporates third-party solutions into its platform, ensuring customers continue to benefit from leading solutions as technologies develop and evolve.
