SECONDARY LISTING ON THE MAIN
BOARD OF THE JOHANNESBURG STOCK EXCHANGE
Supermarket Income REIT plc (LSE:
SUPR), the real estate investment trust with secure,
inflation-linked, long-dated income from grocery property, is
pleased to confirm that, subsequent to the announcement published
on Monday 9 December 2024, its secondary listing on the Main Board
of the JSE Limited ("JSE") has become effective as at the opening
of trading on the JSE this morning.
Nick Hewson, Chair of Supermarket Income REIT,
said:
"At the Company's annual results in
September, we signalled our intention to proceed with a secondary
listing on the JSE and we are pleased to be announcing the
completion of that process today with SUPR's first day of trading
on the JSE. A secondary listing will provide the Company with a
number of benefits including enhancing its profile with a broader
investor base, further improving trading liquidity and the
diversity of our shareholder register."
