Wireless Matrix (TSX: WRX) announced today that the company has received purchase orders to add an additional 1,000 subscribers with a key cable service provider.

The cable service provider, a division of a national Multiple Service Operator (MSO), will deploy Wireless Matrix's FleetOutlook solution within its operational area in the south. The cable service provider will implement FleetOutlook to support automation of workforce management through use of GPS and integration with existing functionality already provided by CSG Systems. In addition, the cable service provider will address reduction of idle time and integration of leak detection devices with GPS functionality.

The subscribers include both FleetOutlook application and vehicle wireless communications users.

FleetOutlook is hosted by Wireless Matrix and delivered as "software-as-a-service". It combines vehicle communications, GPS location and mapping capability, and vehicle monitoring and reporting to improve fleet performance and reduce operating costs. FleetOutlook allows customers to increase fleet efficiency and safety, reduce expenses, control fuel costs, and do more with their existing fleet assets.
