MyScreen Mobile Delivers Ads to Google G1 Phone and Android Devices

WICI) announced today that they will unveil the MyScreen mobile
advertising solution on Android to mobile operators and industry
insiders at the upcoming GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona,
Spain beginning next week. Digitimes Research reports Android sales
to be 6-8 million units or 4-7% of the global handset market in
2009.
The completion of development for the Android platform and the
Google G1 phone means that MyScreen is now available for what was
once rumored to be the biggest potential threat to mobile operators
worldwide, an ad revenue subsidized service that was thought to be
in the works from Google.
Instead this service can now be provided by any operator and is
made possible through the deployment of the MyScreen mobile
advertising solution. The solution is quite simple, in exchange for
subscriber's receiving contextual highly targeted full screen ads
they are compensated through a rewards platform that can include
subsidized mobile services from their operator unlike other mobile
advertising solutions that only come in the form of an SMS or
banner ad with no compensation.
