SINGAPORE--Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (Z74.SG) Thursday said its unit has signed a deal to buy Turn Inc., a U.S.-based data and analytics firm, valuing it at US$310 million.

Singtel's unit Amobee Inc. will buy Turn, which offers advanced data and analytics solutions through a data management platform that allows marketing professionals to better understand customer interactions across different advertisement formats and devices.

The acquisition will expand Amobee's existing programming and data management capabilities, Singtel said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange.
