Monday: Beginning last Friday, the weather data started trending colder for a weather system late this week into the weekend over the northeastern US. This trend held through the weekend and likely aided the higher open Sunday/Monday. Image shows how a glancing shot of colder temperatures will impact the far northern US for regionally strong demand late Friday, although still rather mild to warm over the rest of the country or demand would be much stronger than normal.

The sentiment in the oil market has not been this bullish in more than two years, with oil demand growth expected to be strong along with OPEC’s rhetoric that it would do “whatever it takes” to rebalance the oil market. Brent has been trading above $60 a barrel for several consecutive days and its futures curve has been in backwardation for months. WTI surpassed the $55 mark, and it, too, appears to be approaching backwardation—a sign of a tighter market.
Secondo Austin Pickle, Investment Strategy Analyst at Wells Fargo Investment Institute, "we are only in the sixth year of a commodity bear super-cycle—which usually lasts 20 years on average, and “this oil bear has room to run”
We are currently stuck in the second stage of this super-cycle bear market, in which oil prices are range-bound and will remain so for years. According to Wells Fargo, WTI oil prices will stay stuck in the $30-60 a barrel range for another five to ten years—until the super-cycle bear market is over.
The commodity super-cycle bear markets since 1800 have lasted typically around 20 years on average, but have shortened lately, Pickle says in his analysis. The last super-cycle bear market in oil was from 1983 to 1999, and the current bear market is almost perfectly following the previous cycle trend.
In the previous super bear market, after the 1986 oil price crash, it took the market more than 12 years to turn to the next super-cycle bull market.
“Luckily, we do not see this bear cycle lasting quite so long—our best guess is another 5– 10 years,” Pickle noted.
The shortest bear market on record, back to the year 1800, lasted 13 years. As of today, we are only in year six. This bear still has room to run,” Pickle notes.
Only time will tell if this will be the shortest super-cycle bear market in history, and how far this bear can run.

Arabia Saudita (OIL) E... Purghe..!!-
Il primo ministro libanese Saad al-Hariri (capo della maggioranza sunnita STRARICCO) è stato invitato a Ryad e ha dato le dimissioni con un messaggio vocale, accusando l’Iran e dicendo che non tornava a Beirut perché il regime di Teheran attentava alla sua vita.
La dimissione di Hariri (libano) va inquadrata in questa purga: in pratica il principe ha convocato il capo libanese per arrestarlo.
Contestualmente il principe della corona Mohamed Bin Salman, 34enne ha fatto arrestare 11(Undici) principi suoi parenti, 4 ministri in carica e 38 ex ministri.
Bin Salman ha bisogno di denaro e Trump gli ha chiesto di quotare con IPO (offerta pubblica iniziale) la Aramco, il conglomerato petrolifero proprietà del regno saudita, con un tweet ..

Piazzare a Wall Street quello che è il maggior valore al mondo, rafforzerebbe la “copertura” petrolifera del dollaro, e metterebbe la ARAMCO (tesoro della Casa Saudita) sotto l’autorità regolatoria e legale degli Stati Uniti.
Una mossa disperata, per la protezione USA.
Nel frattempo la purga continua... un atto di forza o di debolezza del principe più scemo del reame ?
Aspettiamo le prossime puntate e non credo che: "Hezbollah, Libano, Iran, Russia, Siria, Jemen, ecc.", STIANO A GUARDARE !! .

Attenzione al gas:
dall'ultimo GFS si deduce che le temperature in USA dalla prossima settimana si addolciranno per cui il consumo di gas è previsto in diminuzione.

Questo fine settimana ci sarà un artic-blast nel NE:
That cold air will sweep through the Great Lakes and into the Northeast by Friday, where highs may hold in the 20s and 30s in some areas.
Behind the arctic front, areas of heavy lake-effect snow are expected for a time in the northern Great Lakes, with a burst of light snow associated with the arctic front itself from the eastern Great Lakes into northern New England.
Low temperatures up to 25 degrees colder than average are currently anticipated Friday morning and Saturday morning from the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley into the Northeast. That means morning lows will be in the teens, 20s and 30s.
Personalmente venderò tutto il long,tra domani e venerdì,e mi metterò short!!

A proposito di gas:
La produzione è sù in modo considerevole anno su anno ma ciò è attutito dall'esportazione verso il Messico,dall'esportazione di LNG in aumento,dalla maggiore richiesta di elettricità e dalla domanda per riscaldamento.
Intanto il freddo,il cold blast,durerà? fino a domenica per poi scemare!
Nel frattempo le ultime previsioni sull'iniezione di oggi pomeriggio:
Thursday: Today’s EIA weekly storage report is expected to show a build in supplies of +14-15 Bcf by most national survey averages, below the 5-year of +45 Bcf. It was warmer than normal over the West and Northeast, while colder than normal in between.
Ciò vuol dire 30Bcf in meno della media a 5a e 40Bcf in meno rispetto allo scorso anno...........vedremo cosa faranno i BIG BOYS!
