The Board of Baronsmead VCT 4 plc announces that on 29 June 2006 the Company
purchased 130,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 106.75p.  These shares
will be held in Treasury.



Following this purchase there are now 31,945,938 ordinary shares of 10p in
issue. The Company's total listed shares are 32,150,938 ordinary shares of 10p.
